LE PROCOPE PARIS

Floor   –    Restaurant

Discover this large and masterful floor rug for the oldest brasserie in Paris, “Procope”, founded in 1686.

This is one of the most beautiful pieces we’ve ever made, with over 180 hours of production in our Nantes workshop.
The arabesques of the logo in Winckelmans porcelain stoneware are enhanced by a black background with a fan motif in Briare enamel. The lettering of the Procope logo was cut in brass and inlaid into the mosaic.

Design and graphic creation: Bertrand Hospitality
Mosaic production: Chifoumi Studio
Installation and grouting not carried out by us.

Mixing materials

On this work, we propose integrating cut brass into the mosaic. The illumination and each of the letters are cut from a brass plate. Between the brilliance and light reflected by the brass and the matt of the mosaic, the combination of porcelain stoneware, enamel and brass offers a lovely contrast to the viewer.

Discover also the integration of 24-carat gold tiles on our mosaic of the Goguette restaurant in Nantes.
