The mosaic welcomes you at the restaurant’s outside entrance. Measuring 157,5×39,4 Inch, it is made of WINCKELMANS ceramic stoneware and BRECCI GLASS 24ct gold tesserae.
This piece required 140 hours of meticulous work, with every tile cut, adjusted, and hand-set at our workshop in Nantes. All our mosaics are unique creations ✨

Classic meets modern
Mosaic techniques, dating back to antiquity, such as the indirect and direct methods, are often preserved in the creation of contemporary mosaics. By using traditional methods, we maintain connections with the rich history of this art form.
Traditional patterns, whether from specific cultures or past eras, can be reinterpreted using modern color palettes or geometric shapes, creating a balance between heritage and innovation.
In this mosaic, we feature the classic fan motif, a staple of decorative mosaics. Here, we combine it with a modern logo and typography. The straight lines break up the dynamic of the fans, highlighting the logo.

WE SHIP ACROSS WORLDWIDE
All our mosaics are handmade in our Nantes workshop by skilled French mosaic artisans. The mosaics are crafted on a mesh, and the mosaic sheets are shipped via a carrier in a custom-made wooden crate.
A qualified tiler will handle the installation and grouting.
