This 1m x 1m70 porcelain stoneware mural, in the colours of the Akena logo, welcomes you with elegance and refinement at the entrance to the hotel, with its fan-shaped background, its fine logo and its brass rod finish.
The Nantes mural :
This 1m x 2.65m porcelain stoneware mural represents the city of Nantes and its emblematic elephant.

We have also paid homage to our city of Nantes on this painting
ANCHORING THE GROUP’S VALUES AND BRAND IMAGE
Each piece of handmade art will be unique to each hotel, giving them their own identity.
The Akena logo will now adorn the receptions of each new hotel.
These collaborations with artists reveal one of the fundamental pillars of the group: the human being, at the heart of each project.
The construction of this eco-responsible establishment illustrates the desire of Akena hotels to diversify their offer and to differentiate themselves from other French hotel groups.
I find that mosaics are both ultra-modern and, at the same time, guarantee a certain kind of timelessness, since the earliest known works can be found as far back as 8,000 years ago. Mosaics are so much a part of our culture that, down the ages, they have become a common thread running through history and civilisation.
So it was the nobility of this art form that motivated me.
Not only does the work decorate our hotel, but today the mosaics are seen as a symbol, both in terms of their representation (the elephant in the island’s machinery and the Akena logo, named after our franchisor) and the fact that they are mosaics, whose nobility is beyond question.

WE DELIVER ALL OVER EUROPE AND THE WORLD
Our mosaics are all handmade in our Nantes workshop. We work with mesh, and ship the mosaic sheets in a custom-made wooden box by courier. A qualified tiler will take care of the installation and grouting.
